Hervey Bay, situated on the amazing Fraser Coast, is a bustling coastal town bordered by pristine sandy beaches and calm waters.  Gateway to the World Hertiage listed Fraser Island and the Great Barrier Reef's Lady Elliot Island, Hervey Bay is also known as the "Whale Watch Capital of Australia".  Each year, between July and November, the mightly Humpback Whales arrive and splash in the safe protected waters of Hervey Bay. 

Fraser Lodge Holiday Park operates a free Tourist Information and Tour Booking Service.  The trained staff can assist in co ordinating all tour bookings and provide you with information on great local activities.  They can also organise courtesy pick and drop off services with a number of local tours as well as offering free motorhome storage with some tours booked (subject to availability).  Let our friendly staff ensure you experience the best the Fraser Coast has to offer!

    Fraser Island Company – 1 Day Safari
    Travel in an air-conditioned, purpose built 4WD bus featuring luxury seats and panoramic windows whilst learning from your knowledgeable guide. Bus seats approx 40 people. Once again you will take a stroll through the Yidney Rainforest, swim in the pristine waters of Lake Garawongera, take a walk along the boardwalk at beautiful Eli Creek, as well as visiting the Coloured Sands and the Maheno Shipwreck. Lunch will consist of an all you can eat buffet lunch of ham, chicken, and a variety of freshly made chef’s selection of salads.  National park fees, transfers and courtesy accommodation pick-up and drop-off are included. $10.00 per baby or booster seat.

    Fraser Island Company – Exclusive 1 Day Tour
    Travel in air-conditioned comfort with our smaller group (maximum 16 people). Learn about Fraser Island’s flora and fauna in a small group atmosphere, with binoculars provided. Take in beautiful Eli Creek, the Maheno Shipwreck, the Coloured Sands, Yidney Rainforest and Lake Allom, the home of the freshwater turtle. Enjoy a delicious morning tea at Fraser Island Wilderness Retreat and a sumptuous lunch of BBQ fresh fish or prime cut steaks with a selection of fresh salads and complimentary glass of beer or wine.     Fraser Island Company – 2 Day/1 Night Safari.
    The Wilderness Safari – departs every Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday
    Travel in an air-conditioned, purpose built 4WD tour coach featuring luxury seats and panoramic windows whilst listening to a full running commentary from your knowledgeable guide. Bus seats approx 40 people. Throughout your tour you will take a stroll through the Yidney & Pile Valley Rainforests, swim in the pristine waters of Lake Birrabeen, hike into Lake Wabby and take a walk along the boardwalk at beautiful Eli Creek. Visit the Coloured Sands and Maheno Shipwreck. You will also take in the magnificent views and spot some unique wildlife from Indian Head. All meals are provided and freshly prepared. Overnight accommodation is located at Frasers at Cathedral Beach. You will sleep in well appointed safari tents featuring either queen size bed or single bed combination. National park fees, transfers and courtesy accommodation pick-up and drop-off are included. 

    Fraser Island Company – 2 Day/1 Night Safari
    The Northern Adventure – departs every Monday, Wednesday & Sunday
    Travel in an air-conditioned, purpose built 4WD tour coach featuring luxury seats and panoramic windows whilst learning from your knowledgeable guide. Bus seats approx 40 people. Throughout your tour you will take a stroll through the Yidney Rainforest, hike into Lake Wabby and Rainbow Gorge. Take a walk along the boardwalk at beautiful Eli Creek, as well as visiting the Coloured Sands, Yidney Rocks and the Maheno Shipwreck. You will also take in the magnificent views and do some wildlife spotting from Indian Head and visit the home of the Penny nose tortoises at Lake Allom. All meals are provided and freshly prepared. Overnight accommodation is located at Frasers at Cathedral Beach. You will sleep in spacious twin/double share, well appointed safari tents featuring queen size beds (upgrades available). National park fees, transfers and courtesy accommodation pick-up and drop-off are included. 

    Fraser Island Company – 3 Day/2 Night Safari - Camping Adventure
    Travel in an air-conditioned, purpose built 4WD tour coach. On your first day you will visit the home of the Penny nose tortoises at Lake Allom where you will enjoy your lunch. After lunch visit the spectacular Knifeblade Sandblow and travel along 75 mile where you can take a walk along the boardwalk at beautiful Eli Creek, visit the Coloured Sands and the Maheno Shipwreck. On your second day you will explore the northern region of Fraser visiting the champagne pools, enjoy the magnificent views from Indian Head and visit Orchid Beach. On the last day of your safari you can hike into Lake Wabby where you can swim in the emerald green waters. Lunch will be at Happy Valley before strolling through the Yidney Scrub Rainforest. Lastly you will go to Lake Garawongera for a final refreshing swim before returning back to Hervey Bay. Quality meals are provided which come served with wine and Australian Beer.     Fraser Explorer - 1 Day Tour

Walk along the banks of Wangoolba Creek, overhung with trees and ferns, visit Central Station set amongst the beautiful rainforest, from there you will travel along 75 mile beach, where you will visit the Maheno Shipwreck, Coloured Sands and get the chance to swim in fast flowing, crystal clear Eli Creek.     Fraser Explorer - 2 Day/1 Night Tour

Walk along the banks of Wangoolba Creek, overhung with trees and king ferns, visit Central Station set amongst the beautiful rainforest and swim in Lake McKenzie, the island’s most beautiful lake. From there you will travel along 75 mile beach, where you will visit the Maheno Shipwreck, Coloured Sands and get the chance to swim in fast flowing, crystal clear Eli Creek.     If you want a relaxing day away on Fraser Island but don’t want to take a guided tour, then this option is for you.  Spend the day at the award winning eco Kingfisher Bay Resort.  Includes courtesy pick up and drop off from the park, return catamaran transfers, full use of all the resort facilities, choice of morning or afternoon tea, Lunch at the Sand Bar restaurant and Ranger-guided nature walks around the resort.
