With the holidays just around the corner, our staff have been busy running around organising everything to ensure yet another fun and memorable holidays at Fraser Lodge.

Hervey Bay will become a family haven this summer with the recent opening of the Hervey Bay Water Education Park.

The $12 million project encompasses a zero-depth water play attraction and an outdoor science museum featuring the properties and nature of water. Water will cascade, squirt, spray, jet and bounce around for children to play within. This is a public facility, which is open to the public free of charge with pay-for-use features inside including a café and a static wave machine.

The whale watching season in Hervey Bay is now in full swing, with some of the best sightings available - it's an opportunity to interact with these majestic animals that is not to be missed!

The first major surge of migrating whales has now entered Hervey Bay so there are plenty of whales about.

You'll be delighted to know that the recent cyclone 'Hamish' has not afftected Hervey Bay or Fraser Island nor has the recent oil spill in Moreton Bay (off Brisbane). The Fraser Coast is 3 hours drive North of Brisbane where the sun is shining, the beaches are clean and the bay is at its best!
