Whalesong is equipped with a hydrophone allowing guests to listen to the melodic song of the male humpback whale as well as having Advanced Eco Tourism Accreditation and being Local & National Award Winners.

This year Whalesong can boast one of the most experienced crew with Jason the ‘passionate and addicted to wildlife skipper’ at the helm plus four crew with over 5 years experience with whales in the Hervey Bay Marine Park. They love what they do. The fully equipped interpretation kit includes photo’s, diagrams and models of a variety of whales, allowing the crew to give you a comprehensive talk not only on what you can expect to see in the Hervey Bay Marine Park but also the difference between a variety of whales.

Whalesong averages between 30-50 passengers per cruise most days and are proud to say their boat has the lowest passenger numbers of the half day catamaran fleet. Max. 70 passengers.
